What happens when you get two maximum talents, one from Genesis, the other from Marillion, and they create new music in instrumental form? You get an album worth hearing. Steve Hackett, with Genesis from 1971-1976, and Steve Rothery, with Marillion from 1982 to the present, have excellent guitar styles that will showcase on the new 7-track upcoming set from the two.
On August 28,the two will join together as Hackett & Rothery and release the album – The Roaring Waves. One track from the upcoming album – “The Black Sea” is currently available and will give you a splendid idea on what to expect from the paring of these two class guitarists. The Roaring Waves will be issued by Inside Out Music on CD, a combined CD/BD (with Atmos mixes and High Resolution Stereo), DD, and two LP versions that include a Limited Edition Blue Marble 180-weight LP, and a Black LP press on 180g-weight vinyl.
