Judas Priest is the UK band that started a new revolution in style that largely became the base rule of thumb for metal bands in the ’80s. From their beginnings in the late ’60s, to their first album in 1974, and on to their Columbia signing that pushed them further into the mainstream in 1977, this band had persevered through the departure of Rob Halford for two albums. The band has output 19 studio releases and two best-selling live sets.

On June 19, Sony will release The Best Of Judas Priest, a new compilation that will adequately span their career with 16 tracks (see list below). Designed to offer a more complete collection and to entice those who have yet to explore the band’s music.

The Best Of Judas Priest will be issued on CD, DD, and several LP versions that will include Black LP, Red LP, Blue LP, and a collectible Picture Disc edition.
