Morrissey, the enigmatic vocalist for The Smiths, who released four albums with The Smiths in a short-lived span of three years, and a whopping 15 solo albums. Thirteen of those were studio sets, and two of those were live sets. Morrissey’s last album was I Am Not A Dog On A Chain, issued in 2020. His audience, particularly those that live in the UK are still quite interested in his music, thus he remains relevant to many. His two live sets are the 1993 Beethoven Was Deaf album, and Live At Earls Court in 2005.
On July 26, Rhino Entertainment will revisit Beethoven Was Deaf with a newly remastered reissue that will acknowledge the 30th anniversary of the live album. The original album was first released in 1993 and featured his live set in Paris at the Paris Zenith on December 22 in 1992. This newly remastered set will provide the original album with a new cover.
Beethoven Was Deaf will be reissued on CD, DD, and 2 versions of LP that include industry standard black vinyl, and a Limited Edition orange vinyl offering. Both LPs packages will be provided in gatefold jackets.
