The Kinks enjoyed an important early period in Rock, then enjoyed a resurgence of interest in their Arista years, Two of the Arista titles went Gold – Low Budget (1978), and Give The People What They Want (1981). Between the two titles, there were 8 singles with some having success in the UK and others in the US, although Low Budget had “(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman”, and Give The People What They Want had “Better Things” successful on both sides of the Atlantic.
On June 26, BMG will reissue both Low Budget, and Give The People What They Want with new remastering from the original tapes. Both titles will be issued in digisleeves, with no bonus tracks.
Both Low Budget, and Give the People What They Want will be offered on CD, DD, and LP in black 180g-weight vinyl.
