Nazareth, a Scottish Rock band held sway in the ’70s with a string of successful albums that included their breakout album, Razamanaz (1973), and subsequent classics like Rampant (1974), and Hair Of The Dog (1975). Nazareth, with the original lineup that included Manny Charleton (who left in 1990), Darrell Sweet (who died in 1999), vocalist, Dan McCafferty (who retired in 2013), and founding bassist, Pete Agnew (still remains), left behind an impressive catalog of 17 studio albums. To date, Nazareth has issued 24 albums, the latter seven with varying members of the classic lineup.
On April 15, Nazareth continues with a new album called Surviving The Law. The band now exists with Pete Agnew, vocalist Carl Sentance (who joined for Nazareth‘s previous album – Tattoed On My Brain), Lee Agnew on drums (since Sweet’s passing), and Jimmy Murrison on guitars (since 1998). Surviving The Law will provide fourteen new tracks, one of which is in current release as the new album’s first single – “Strange Days” (hear below).
Surviving The Law is planned for CD, DD, CS, and 2 Limited Edition Color vinyl LP releases (Yellow, and separately available Orange, both limited to 800 copies each worldwide) via Frontiers Records.
