If you’re the adventurous type, and you like music for the sake of music, then a listen to The Hu might be a good thing for you. The music is a style of music best referred to as Folk Metal. It hybridizes metal with a Mongolian folklore that itself merges throat singing and Mongol music instrumentation along with the noted hard-core metal style we are familiar with. The band has been around since 2016 and currently has two studio sets in release, a third coming.
On July 24, that third album, to be titled HUN will be issued with a collection of 11 brand new compositions. Several songs from the new album are already in circulation including “Lost Soul”, which has a collaboration with Jonny Hawkins of Nothing More (San Antonio, TX-based Rock). HUN will be released on CD, DD, and several versions of vinyl LP that include Red Marble vinyl 2LP, and a Limited Edition webstore Splatter 2LP set. These will release via Better Noise Music (Eleven Seven Group).
