Rush left behind quite a legacy since their 1974 debut. Since that album, they have consistently grown their fan-base with increasingly more complex and quite listenable music that explored fantasy, space rock, and human interaction. Their strong work ethics sometimes produced two albums in under a year – like Fly By Night, and Caress Of Steel, both in 1975. After the passing of Neil Peart, the band put album and touring work behind them, only recently picking up the mantle again. One of their classic sets is Grace Under Pressure. Produced and issued in 1984, the album sold well worldwide.
On March 13, Universal will reissue Grace Under Pressure in a Deluxe set that will provide 4CDs and a BD. The CDs will contain the original album newly remastered for this reissue, a new remix of the album, with the remaining two CDs holding the full set from their September 21, 1984 concert at the Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, CN. The Blu-ray will provide the concert video of that show in Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround, and standard PCM stereo. Additionally, the original album 1984 mix will be provided in Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround, and standard PCM stereo, while the 2025 mix will be provided in PCM stereo. A 52-page hardback book will provide photos and notes by Geddy Lee as he reflects on the album’s 40th Anniversary. The BD completes with four bonus music videos of songs from the album.
Grace Under Pressure 40th Anniversary Deluxe will be released in the mentioned 4CD/BD package, Deluxe DD, and a 5LP/BD Box. Also, a Dolby Atmos edition of the album will be made available as well as a Grace Under Pressure Live In Toronto 1984 Tour video.
