Peter Gabriel, once the vocal front man for early Genesis, and then a strong solo artist, has kept the music fans of his work on their toes over the last few years. With Genesis, he released six albums, each more successful than the last. But as Peter Gabriel felt that his expression needed more attention, he split from Genesis and went alone. His first album (also known as Car) immediately captured fans’ fancy and delivered a popular hit, “Solsbury Hill”. From there, it would be four more albums before his worldwide fame hit (aka Scratch, Melt (with “Games Without Frontiers”, Security (with “Shock The Monkey”), and his multi-Platinum SO, issued in 1986 and delivered “Sledgehammer” as its focus point).
On March 13, Peter Gabriel will re-release In The Big Room, a show that was scheduled on his 2002/2003 tour for only members of his fan club. This set showcases 14 live tracks. This set will be released on physical formats as 2CDs and 2LPs. While each are available separately, there is a bundle for both together. The LPs are pressed on black 180g-weight vinyl.
