Yes is a band that we do not need to alert anyone to. Their phases are popular with one set of fans or another. And we’re completely used to Yes title updates. But once in a while, something pops up that can command attention.

On January 23, Mercury Records will reissue Symphonic Live. Originally released in 2002, this new reissue will provide new remastering over two CDs and will pack in a Blu-ray edition, upping the quality over the original DVD editions. The bonuses will include a 30-minute documentary, and a promo video of “Don’t Go”. In addition, a five-card art set is packed in a clamshell box along with a double-sided poster and a feature-rich booklet. Listen to the extract of “Long Distance Runaround” below.

A 4LP Box is also scheduled for the same date. The vinyl LPs will be pressed on black vinyl and will be 180g-weight. They will also be mastered at half speed for this edition. The final side of the fourth LP will be etched.
