David Bowie, once a strange new addition to the world of Rock and appearing destined for niche acceptance, defied all the conventions and helped to reshape Rock music. At that, David Bowie became one of the most adored figures in Rock. The rest of the story is pure legend. With extraordinary morphing capabilities, David Bowie explored many realms of music under different personas. As he entered the mid-’70s, he had left his glam period with the Ziggy persona and entered his Thin White Duke era. With the advent of Young Americans in 1975, and its Station To Station follow-up in 1976, David Bowie was becoming more essential.

On January 23, Parlophone will release a pair of 50th Anniversary celebratory vinyl sets that will honor the Station To Station title. The LPs will be a picture disc edition, and a Half-Speed Master black vinyl LP. With both, but especially the HSM edition, you will be getting a good celebration of the classic set. The remaster is from 2016.
