Camel, the brilliant progressive band from the UK, released 14 studio sets in their tenure. Their best known is The Snow Goose, a 1975 musical adaptation of the 1940 Paul Gallico novel of the same name. But other grand notables include Mirage (1974). Moonmadness (1976), and Rain Dances (1977). But they have released several highly regarded live sets that include A Live Record (1978), and Pressure Points (1984).
On January 30, Esoteric Recordings (Cherry Red UK) will add to the set of live releases with Earthrise: Live At The Marquee 1974. This set will provide 2 CDS that cover 13 performance tracks as the band began their tour to promote Mirage. Even better, it provided a glimpse into the band’s far-reaching intent with performances of songs from later released The Snow Goose. The booklet will expound on the period and the show with notes and photos. This album has been newly mixed from the original Decca tapes from the show.

Earthrise: Live At The Marquee 1974 will be released on 2CD and DD.
