The Alan Parsons Project ran a successful career on ten strong releases that began with Tales Of Mystery And Imagination, and largely concluded with the release of Gaudi. With an eleven year run, the music produced by Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson boldly stands the test of time. One of those is Pyramid. Issued in 1978, this third album from APP delivered three under-received singles. Nevertheless, Pyramid is an enchanting album for APP aficionados and deservedly so.
On August 23, The Alan Parsons Project will give the Deluxe Edition treatment to the title with a new 2024 remaster of the original album and an expansion of tracks across a wide variety of offerings. There will be four bonus tracks added. The boxed set will pack in a 12×12 hardcover book and a poster.
Pyramid Remastered will be released in CD, DD, Exclusive Half-Speed Remaster pressed on clear vinyl, Half Speed-remaster pressed on Gold Nugget vinyl, Black vinyl LP, and variable bundle packages that increasingly add more for the hard-core fan. You can pre-order to your heart’s content here.
