Neil Young, one of Rock’s great musicians and creator of song, has announced a new tour. But even better than that, he has announced the release of a new album, to be called Fuckin’ Up. What is especially excellent about the tour is that Crazy Horse will be along for the ride and feature Nils Lofgren, Billy Talbot, and Ralph Molina. Watch for that tour, if you’re able to attend. Tickets go on sale this Friday. The 16-date tour will be the first for Neil Young and Crazy Horse in more than a decade.
On April 26, Neil Young will issue (the sure to be contested title of) Fuckin’ Up, an album filled with recently re-recorded versions of old familiar tracks. Unfortunately, at this moment, the track list is unavailable. But it should prove to be an interesting release of songs.
Fuckin’ Up will be released first on RSD on April 20 as a Limited Edition vinyl LP. Then, of course, CD, DD, and vinyl LP will emerge for the title. Keep an eye out for the song inclusions.
