Judas Priest entered the Rock world with Rocka Rolla in 1974 and following up with Sad Wings of Destiny (1976), and a debut on Columbia with Sin After Sin in 1977. With the move over to Columbia, the band gained a stronger introduction and earned them a Gold sales marker. Their big breakout album would not be until 1982 with Screaming For Vengeance, a set that earned 2,000,000 in sales. All told, Judas Priest has 18 studio sets in release.
On March 8, Columbia will issue the new Judas Priest set, to be known as Invincible Shield. The new album will have a single released soon, “Panic Attack”. The CD will pack in a 12-page booklet.
Invincible Shield will be released on CD, DD, CS, and several editions of vinyl LP that will include 180g-weight Black 2LP vinyl, 2LP Picture discs with two separate art works, an alternate cover 2LP 180-weight black vinyl, and a 2LP 180g-weight black vinyl with 7″ vinyl single, also with an alternate cover.
