Smoke Fairies are Katherine Blamire, and Jessica Davies. They met in school in the UK, and with a string of extraordinary opportunities that include an opening set on tour with Bryan Ferry, Smoke Fairies have gained an appreciative fanbase with their extraordinary offerings. To date, they have six beautiful studio albums, and one live set, all of which highlight their talent.
On November 17, Smoke Fairies will release their 7th new album, Carried In Sound. The new album will feature 11 new compositions, one of which is an instrumental, and release via Year Seven Records. One of the songs – “Vanishing Line” is in release as a fore-running single and can be heard below.
Carried In Sound will be offered on CD, DD, and several versions of vinyl LP that include a Limited Edition (300 copies) of a Transparent Blue vinyl exclusive to Rough Trade, and a wider availability of (still Limited Edition) Transparent Orange vinyl.
