For over 50 years, Tangerine Dream, with over 25 members of the iconic set, has flourished with great musicianship and excellent composition. Much of this has been with band founder, Edgar Froese. But that visionist has been gone for eight years now, replaced by Thorsten Quaeschning, chosen by the master himself. With Thorsten at the helm, and with master violinist, Hoshiko Yamane, and Paul Fricke, Tangerine Dream remains as a tight and highly creative unit.
On September 4, Tangerine Dream will offer The Sessions VIII, new in a continual stream of ‘Sessions‘ releases that take a superlative show and offers it to the public for their personal enjoyment. This new entry into the series will feature live sessions recorded at the United Arts Festival in Gdansk, and the Progresya Summer Stage in Warsaw in August 15 and 17 of 2021. It should hopefully soon be included within the Complete Box.
The Sessions VIII will be released on CD and DD via Eastgate Music (here).
