Black Tape For A Blue Girl, the Sam Rosenthal-led ensemble that has created a beautiful and hypnotizing blend of Rock and Dark Wave encased with violins, convincing vocals, and electronic creations. With their first issue – The Rope. Released in 1986, The Rope helped set the stage for increasingly headier compositions that include the unmatched Remnants Of A Deeper Purity from 1996. Overall, Black Tape For A Blue Girl has released 14 excellent metamorphic studio sets, each a masterpiece in its own right.
In August, Projekt Records will released newly remixed physical editions of Mesmerized By The Sirens. The remixed set has been released as DD back in January of 2023. However, the set now becomes available on CD, Minidisc, and two versions of color vinyl in limited quantities.
Mesmerized By The Sirens (stylized as mesmerized by the sirens) will feature not only the 2023 remix of the original album but will also fill the 2nd CD with 10 demos, early takes, early mixes, and an extended play track.
