Julee Cruise came into the realm of David Lynch during the creation of the groundbreaking series, Twin Peaks. With a hypnotic voice and an adaptation to the musical needs of Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti, Julee Cruise proved to be the perfect fit for the required music of the series. To no surprise, “Falling” became a hit. When Julee Cruise released her debut, “Falling” was included. But “Rockin’ Back Inside My Heart” also became a big hit from the singer, too. Julee Cruise would release three more albums. Sadly, Julee Cruise died by suicide in 2022 after an extended bout with Lupus and depression. (Thank you for the great music, Julee!)
On August 11, Sacred Bones will reissue the Julee Cruise debut, Floating Into The Night, on four color variations of vinyl, with one of them an exclusive to the Sacred Bones website. The three limited edition availabilities (750 copies each) include industry black, pink and black galaxy, and pink. The ultra rare reissue of clear yellow and black vinyl will be limited to 150 copies and can be acquired by enrolling in the Sacred Bones Record Society (here). You can order the other three here.
