One of the classic all-time Rock bands are, without question, The Rolling Stones. They have been here almost from the beginning of Rock n Roll and are STILL a touring and recording unit! To date, they have nearly 30 studio albums not counting their live sets. With interest in the band still at an all-time high (simply look at their tour dates attendance to ascertain the validity of that), it’s no secret that they should provide the fullness of their albums in newly accessible ways. And that they are doing. With the Abkco titles, The Stones will reissue them in vinyl on 180g-weight black vinyl.
On June 9, you can expect Big Hits (High Tides and Green Grass) [UK version] to be followed on June 16 with the US version of the same title. June 16 will also see the reissue of Flowers. On July 14, Metamorphosis is expected. On September 15 both the US version and the UK version of Out Of Our Heads are planned.
On October 6, England’s Newest Hit Makers hit the shelves followed on October 20 with Through The Past Darkly (Big Hits, Volume 2) [UK version]. The US version of Through The Past Darkly will reissue on November 10. Planned for December 1 are three Stones titles, The Rolling Stones, No. 2, December’s Children (And Everybody’s), and Got Live If You Want It.
For 2024, there will be Now!, and the UK version of The Rolling Stones. Start that savings account!
