Joshua Bell is well-known worldwide as one of the world’s more distinguished violinists. He has an enviable appearance in Carnegie Hall at the young age of 17 in his resume along with a wide array of albums including several film soundtracks. In his lifetime, he has achieved an extraordinary measure of fame for his incredible mastery of the violin.
On June 30, Sony Classical on their Masterworks label will release a new album from Joshua Bell, who appears alongside the Singapore Chinese Orchestra for a performance of one of China’s great classical works – Butterfly Lovers. The Butterfly Lovers is considered one of China’s Four Great Folktales, selected in the 1920s.
The set will contain ten pieces, all performed by Joshua Bell. It will be made available on CD and DD.
