Since the late ’60s, Black Sabbath has become a staple of hard rock, giving excellent music on through the remainder of the century. Even in 2013, Black Sabbath commanded attention with their best-selling 13 album. In addition to their studio sets, Black Sabbath in their various lineups, produced a few live sets as well. One of those is Live Evil. Issued in 1983, Live Evil was the Dio-fronted set that featured 14 performance tracks.
On June 2, Live Evil is being revisited for its 40th Anniversary with 4CDs of contributions. The original album has been newly remastered for this release for 2CDs, and a brand new mix of the album has been included for the other two CDs.
The set will pack in a 40-page book, a replica program from the 1982 tour, and a replica tour poster. Live Evil – 40th Anniversary Edition will also be released on DD, and 4LP Box set.
