Peter Frampton has enjoyed quite a ride in the world of Rock ‘n Roll. With professional beginnings in Herd, Humble Pie, and then later as a solo artist with Frampton’s Camel, and simply Peter Frampton, his rise was meteoric arriving in the form of a live set, Frampton Comes Alive! (1976).
On July 28, Intervention Records will reissue three of Frampton’s pre-Frampton Comes Alive! studio sets newly remastered for a Limited Edition 50th Anniversary 180g-weight vinyl Box set that will provide Wind of Change (1972), Frampton’s Camel (1973), and Frampton (1975), leaving out Something’s Happening (1974) for whatever reasons – maybe technical. The Box will be limited to 2500 copies worldwide. A Frampton poster is packed in as well as certificate of authenticity.
On April 28, Intervention will also release the same three albums in Hybrid Stereo/SACD set, both as a 3SACD bundle, and individually for the choosey crowd. Order LP Box here, SACD bundle here. You can pre-order Wind Of Change SACD here, Frampton’s Camel SACD here, and Frampton SACD here.
