Consider the band that even Led Zeppelin liked – Detective. Signed to the LZ label, Swan Song, Detective was led by vocalist Michael Des Barres, who earlier led Silverhead before leaving the band in 1974. Detective released two well-liked albums but broke up in 1978, a mere four years after formation.
On May 12, Org Music will revisit the self-titled debut by Detective with a brand new reissue that features a new remaster. In addition, the artwork is modified with an updated back cover. A booklet with new notes and etc will be included.
Detective will be released on CD, DD, and a Limited Edition vinyl LP pressed on silver-color vinyl. The vinyl press is limited to 2000 copies only. LP can be pre-ordered here.
