You cannot think about the magic of ’60s R&B without running across the name of Smokey Robinson. Hell, even ’80s New Wave band, ABC, produced an honorary song, “When Smokey Sings” (I hear violins). Over his lifetime, Smokey Robinson (who is 82, by the way) released 19 studio albums with The Miracles with the famed Motown/Tamia label. His solo career resulted in 25 albums.

On April 28, Smokey Robinson will release his next album with GASMS. The new album will feature nine new songs, one of which is in current release (hear “If We Don’t Have Each Other” below).

There is currently no info on the track listing or release formats but I do believe it’s safe to assume there will be CD, DD, and vinyl LP for GASMS.
