Cat Stevens has had his catalog in a revisited state for a time now. At his popularity peak, he released 8 studio albums over a brief period of five years of time. With that, those albums generated around 15 singles. Of those, eight were super tracks like “Morning Has Broken”, “Oh Very Young”, “Peace Train”, “Wild World”, “Moonshadow”, “Another Saturday Night”, and others. His last revisited album was Teaser And The Firecat, issued in 1971. Catch Bull At Four followed that classic set in 1972 and became one of its own.
On December 2, Catch Bull At Four will be given the Deluxe 50th Anniversary treatment with new 2022 remastering. It is planned for CD, DD, and LP versions. The title will include a 20-page booklet with lyrics, photos, liner notes, and more. There was a Box planned originally but the project seems to have exhausted itself for whatever reasons unbeknownst. Nevertheless, the original album remastered might help to fill that.
