The Mighty Lemon Drops, a UK band that brought its style of post-punk to the world, existed for a short time. From 1986-1992, they released 5 albums into a small but satisfying catalog. Three of those albums were charters.
On November 25, Cherry Red UK will release a 5CD Box of the band’s first three albums (Happy Head – 1986, World Without End – 1988, Laughter – 1989), all newly remastered for this box. In addition to the original albums, a collection of non-album singles, B-Sides, demos, radio mixes, session recordings, and bonus live tracks will accompany the set. Many of the bonus tracks are previously unreleased.
The box will contain a booklet with notes, photos, and essay detailing the albums inside.
