When it comes to Tina Turner, she’s enjoyed every moment in the spotlight, and endured every tragedy in her life. This leads us to the tale of a remarkable woman with strength, who relentlessly pursued life on her terms, and eventually ruled the charts as a solo performer. During her peak, she had nine solo albums, with about 30 singles worldwide with variable forms of success in their markets. Her breakout album was Private Dancer, releasing in 1984 with the well-known single, “What’s Love Got To Do With It” performing extremely well on the radio. She followed that up with Break Every Rule in 1986.
On November 25, Rhino and Parlophone will reissue Break Every Rule with a 2CD set that will provide a new remaster (2022) for the original album, and add in a collection of B-Sides, Dance Remixes, and a live performance track, ten bonus tracks in all. A bigger set will include an extra CD with the fan-favorite live set, Tina Live At Rio, from January 16, 1988, and two DVDs, one that includes the same show just mentioned. The second DVD will feature a collection of 7 videos, and the Camden Palace (now known as KOKO) show from 1986.
Break Every Rule will reissue on 3CD/2DVD Box, 2CD, DD, and vinyl LP.
