The music of Dion goes way back to nearly the beginning. In 1959, he asked “Why Must I Be A Teenager In Love”. In 1961, he saddened at the love antics of “Runaround Sue”. In fact Dion DiMucci released many singles and albums over the evolution of Rock and Roll. His last album was Blues With Friends, which was released in 2020. Over all this time, there is around 35 albums solo and a string with The Belmonts. Singles? Don’t ask.

On November 19, Dion will release his next album. It is being called Stomping Ground. This new album follows on the heels of his collaboration album previously released. It will contain 14 new songs with an impressive list of helpers that include Bruce Springsteen, G.E. Smith, Rickie Lee Jones, Keb’ Mo’, Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, Boz Scaggs, and Joe Bonamassa among other classic artists.

Stomping Ground will be released on CD, DD, and 2LP vinyl. The included booklet features liner notes by Pete Townshend. The preceding single is “Take It Back”, a bluesy work with Joe Bonamassa (hear below)
