Among Jam fans, Bruce Foxton is not an unknown musician. He was part of The Jam for their six albums released from 1977 through 1982 in a brief lifespan. The Jam disbanded and never reformed. However, in 2007, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler, along with David Moore repurposed The Gift (previous band) and gained a successful band by the name of From The Jam. They enjoyed a successful tour, but Moore and Buckler left in 2009. From The Jam remains to this day with Bruce Foxton, and Russell Hastings along with Mike Randon on drums. From The Jam have two studio albums in release (Back In The Room – 2012, and Smash The Clock – 2015) and a live album, From The Jam Live (2017).
On September 3, the two components of From The Jam – Bruce Foxton and Russell Hastings have combined to create an album of new music with The Butterfly Effect. The duo are listed as Foxton & Hastings in a new crowd-funded campaign known as Making Music.
The Butterfly Effect will be released on CD, DD, and several versions of vinyl LP (Red Marble, and Blue Marble). There are plenty of bundles to be had with the upcoming album. Check that stuff out here.
