In the beginning, and for three albums, Tony Kaye was a part of the YES family. His attachment ended with the release of The YES Album issued in 1971. (Tony rejoined YES for more several more albums and touring purposes in the ’80s and early ’90s.) He founded the UK band, Badger, which released a live set and a studio album. Not long after, Tony Kaye joined the team of the sadly short-lived Detective with Michael Des Barres (Silverhead), who only released two classic and highly underrated albums. Tony Kaye left the music life in 1996.
On September 10, Tony Kaye returns with a new album long in the making. The new album is a 16-track set featuring music heavily inspired by the events of the tragedy of September 11th. Over the years, Tony Kaye has crafted songs individually and with a collection, decided to gather than in time for the upcoming 20-year anniversary of 9/11. The new album is called End Of Innocence. It will be released via Spirit of Unicorn Music, a part of Cherry Red UK. The expressive cover was designed by longtime YES designer, Roger Dean.
10% of the profits of the sales of End Of Innocence will be donated to The Gary Sinise Foundation, an organization that assists veterans and first responders during times of hardship.

Hey Matt, Tony Kaye was the keyboard player for Yes from 1982-1994, including the albums 90125, Big Generator, Union, and Talk. Even though Trevor Rabin played some of the keyboard parts on these albums, Tony was much more than a touring musician for a short period of time.
Also Springsteen still rocks!
