The band known as Barclay James Harvest had already released five studio albums by the time they reached Time Honoured Ghosts. Released in 1975, it furthered solidified the genius of the band with a solid set of songs. Barclay James Harvest. The band would release more than ten albums before splintering.
On September 24, Cherry Red UK and Esoteric Recordings will revisit Time Honoured Ghosts with a new 2021 remastering (from original Stereo master tapes – the original multi-track tapes are lost), keeping the album’s audio fresh for a newer time. Inside will feature not only the new remastering of the original album, but will add in a bonus track of an unreleased outtake single (“Child Of The Universe”. The new set is further appreciated by the inclusion of a DVD. The DVD will feature the original album in both high-resolution 96kHz/24-bit Stereo and 5.1 Surround mixes, and will also include five promotional videos. The package will include a booklet with a new essay, as well as a poster.
