In 1984, Tina Turner entered Pop stratosphere with her multi-platinum album, Private Dancer. With seven supportive singles including the chart-breaking singles, “What’s Love got To Do With It”, “Better Be Good To Me”, and “Private Dancer”, the album led the way for her next steps. She released four more best-selling albums that included the 1989 classic Tina Turner album, Foreign Affair. Foreign Affair sold 6 million copies worldwide and generated six singles.
On July 16, Rhino Records and Parlophone will revisit Foreign Affair with a 4CD/DVD Box. Inside will contain the original album with a new 2020 remaster. Additionally, a CD of 16 bonus tracks will include demos, B-sides, and remixes from the album sessions. CD3 and CD4 provide the complete live show from Barcelona originally presented as Do You Want Some Action! Live in Barcelona (from the October 5, 1990 show at the Estadio Olímpico de Montjuïc)The DVD presents the Do You Want Some Action! Live In Barcelona concert film, previously released, along with 6 music videos. You can listen to the remastered demo track of “The Best” from the reissue below.
This new remaster reissue of Foreign Affair will also be issued on 2CD, DD, and 2LP sets. There will also be a Limiited Edition 2LP set pressed on White vinyl.
