Blues Pills is a Swedish band with a load of power and with dynamic vocal range from a fiery female talent. With 2 previous albums, both charting, the band has ably cut a path for rabid fans. They have adorned their two albums with EPs and two excellent live sets. Fans, myself included, will be pleased to know that Blues Pills returns with a brand new album.

On June 19, Nuclear Blast will present the new Blues Pills album, Holy Moly! This new album should be packed with a slate of great music as foreshadowed by their first single from it, “Proud Woman” (hear below). There are no tracklists yet, or official album cover.

Holy Moly! will be released on CD, DD, and vinyl LP. They will be touring extensively to support the album. Us US fans do hope to see them in American venues soon.

  1. About time! I had assumed they fell off the edge of the earth. Loved their first album. Second was a bit of a disappointment when compared to the first (still good when compared to most of the bands around). Looking forward to this one.
    Thanks for the news.
