At 73, Robin Trower shows no sign of slowing down. During his career with Procol Harum, he helped to define the music of the ’60s. Eventually, Trower took his guitar prowess to the solo stage, forming a band to help create a ’70s persona that sold well consistently. With over twenty studio sets to his namesake band, including the well-received Gold albums, Bridge of Sighs (1974), For Earth Below (1975), Long Misty Days (1976), In City Dreams (1977), and a best-selling live set, Robin Trower Live! (1976), Trower (along with James Dewar, and several drummers) established himself as a guitarist of important note.
On March 22, Robin Trower will release his newest solo studio effort, Coming Closer To The Day. This album will present twelve new compositions and promises to provide Trower fans with electric excitement.
A single from the upcoming album is available to hear (below). The new track is called “Tide of Confusion”. It contains classic Robin Trower funk with that unmistakable guitar leadership!
Coming Closer To The Day will be issued on CD, DD, and 180-gram black vinyl LP (with downloadable MP3s).
