In the year 2000, at the world famous Glastonbury Festival held in the UK, David Bowie took the stage on June 25 for a memorable hits-driven 21-song performance. What he left was a legendary show that still resonates. Only about 30 minutes of this show has ever been seen (other than by the attendees). Rhino Records and the Bowie estate have a new set that showcases the entirety of the Glastonbury show on the calendar.
On November 30, there is a 2CD/DVD combo set that will unveil the entire performance not only audio-wise (2CD), but video as well (DVD). The title will be Bowie – Glastonbury 2000. Of course, the audio portion has been previously available in other packages, most with bootlegged audio quality. You can acquire the audio-only portion on a 2CD package. A 3LP Edition is on the calendar for this title as well.
