Back in the MTV days of New Wave television videos, a band by the name of Naked Eyes emerged with a cover of Burt Bacharach and Hal David’s “Always Something There To Remind Me”. Released in 1983, the song rose to the top of the charts in multiple markets (8 in the US).  The debut album, Burning Bridges, gave the synthpop duo an instant climb into popstar rank. The album generated another hit with “Promises, Promises”.

On August 31, Chrysalis Records will reissue the Naked Eyes debut, Burning Bridges, with a brand new 2018 remaster, and  a small collection of remixes and B-sides as bonus tracks. (Posted artwork above may change.)
