Consider the career path of Graham Nash: The Hollies, a band that produced a wealth of ’60s hits (“On a Carousel”, “Bus Stop”, “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother”, “Carrie Anne”, to just name a few), and Crosby, Stills & Nash (and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young), who produced an equal number of classic hits (“Suite: Judy Blue Eyes”, “Woodstock”, “Our House”, “Marrakesh Express”, “Just A Song Before I Go”, also to name but a few). Those two on a resume is mind-boggling and impressive. It’s important to that Graham Nash was involved in the composition of many of these songs (not all, but many including those not mentioned).
On June 29, Atlantic Records will release a 2CD overview of Graham Nash called Over The Years…. This collection will focus on his post-Hollies years with a wide selection of CSN and solo songs with a second CD filled with demos of familiar songs (see track-list below). There are 30 songs in all, demos included. All songs have been remastered.
