The Rifles Big LifeThe Rifles is a UK band that I’ve raved on before. With a sound not dissimilar to The Jam from the ’70s, The Rifles have forged a great New Millennium career with classic originals of their own. Paul Weller (The Jam) has actually referred to The Rifles favorably. That’s what led me to become a Rifles fan quite some time ago. With four great albums under their belts, the band is set to release their fifth.

On August 19, The Rifles will officially release Big Life with a whopping eighteen tracks that are said to bring a new quality to their music. Their last album was released with the help of Pledge Music ( a resource I love). That album, No Love Lost (2014) found its way to the near top of the UK charts, their highest to date. There is good reason for this. They simply are one of those rare bands that do it right. The new album was also financed via Pledge Music.

Big Life will be issued in several forms via their online store (accessible here). Of course, you can get the standard issues via Amazon. the limited issues include a 2CD, LP (white vinyl) with a signed art print Deluxe Edition, a 2CD with signed art print set, a limited edition of 300 only white vinyl LPs. There were a limited edition run of 300 blue vinyl LPs but those are sold out (so don’t wait too long on the white). Please enjoy “Numero Uno” from this new album below!
