Kaiser Chiefs Stay TogetherKaiser Chiefs is a UK indie band that has been with us for quite a while, certainly longer than many. They started back in 2000 and still do it up nicely some sixteen years later(!). With five previous albums out, the band still has the music skills to keep us interested.

On October 7, Kaiser Chiefs will release their next album, Stay Together. Like other bands, these guys have utilized the resource of Pledge Music to help make this new one a reality. Stay Together will offer eleven new tracks.

The album is being heralded by the release of a track from the album, “Parachute”. If it underscores anything about the album, it’s that it will be a Pop styled release. With the use of electronic beats, the new song brings a danceable quality. Kaiser Chiefs fans might be a bit surprised if the music heard on “Parachute” details what the rest of Stay Together will visit. (Check “Parachute” out below.) With previous albums a decided Rock flavor, this new song is a bit of a surprise. But then so was the new song by Bloc Party. But it worked well for me. Kaiser Chiefs’ last album, Education… (2014) hinted a bit at this new direction with its own New Wave-like sound.

Stay Together will be released on CD, DD, and vinyl LP. If you’re interested in their Pledge Music campaign and the extra adds that it offers (like teeshirt bundles with CDs, LPs, and lithograph print art. The vinyl available offers standard vinyl and 180g-weight vinyl. You can check those out here.
