It’s been a long, long time since we’ve had an album from The Coral (other than their “lost tracks” collection found on 2014’s The Curse Of Love). Their last, Butterfly House, was released in 2010, after which the band undertook a painful (for us fans) hiatus. The Coral, a band from England, never made a bad album. At least for me. And so it’s with excitement that I can zero in on the news that The Coral will be releasing their eighth set, Distance Inbetween, with twelve new songs.
Distance Inbetween is on the calendar for release on April 3. The album is expected on CD, DD, and vinyl LP. There is currently no word if a Deluxe Edition is expected with additional tracks (which would be welcomed by me).
Currently, the band has not only released their pre-release single from the album, they’re giving a CD quality WAV version of it away for free (click here to get yours), as well as an MP3 copy. The free download will offer the single cover art as well. The song is “Chasing The Tail Of A Dream” (and it ROCKS!) You don’t need to provide an email address or anything. It’s completely free. The band currently has a string of March, April, and May UK tour dates available, some sold out.
