Be sure to watch for  a new release featuring The Bee Gees. It’s titled You Should Be Dancing, sporting a November 6 release date. The new issue (whatever it may be) will be released on CD, and a 180g 2LP set.

Eagle Rock Entertainment has a Frank Zappa set coming on October 30. The set is called Roxy The Movie and will showcase the three-night sets at The Roxy in Hollywood from December 8-10 way back in 1973. Roxy The Music will be issued on BD/CD, and DVD/CD combos.

Varese Sarabande Records will release 25 All Time Greatest Hits featuring the music of Charlie Rich. It is set for October 23.

Wicked Cool Records (with Columbia Records) will release a new Darlene Love album called Introducing Darlene Love (as if…). The new album features help like Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, and others. Introducing Darlene Love provides 14 songs. It releases on September 18 in both CD, and 180g vinyl 2LP.

Sony Masterworks will release Yo-Yo Ma – The Classical Cello Collection, on October 2. This 15CD Boxed set will feature fourteen of Yo-Yo Ma’s extensive catalog (he has over 80 released albums), all personally picked by Yo-Yo Ma. The included booklet will provide new liner notes, and a wealth of photographs, etc. All of his Grammy Award-winning albums are included in this box.

RTQB Records will release Live At Stubb’s, Vol III by Matisyahu, on October 2. The live set was from a recorded show in March of 2015.

The Steven Wilson remix of Gentle Giant’s Octopus is planned for October 30.

Sacred Bones Records plan to release Polish Night Music from David Lynch and Marek Zebrowski. It’s scheduled for October 16 for 2LPs!

Omnivore Recordings will release the new album from Peter Case (The Nerves, Solo), HWY 62, on October 30. The new album is planned for CD, DD, and a yellow vinyl LP edition with download card for the digital files included.

American Records will reissue Tom Petty‘s Highway Companion on vinyl LP, scheduling the disc for November 27.

BTW, it IS Mothership on CD that will join the re-release of the Led Zeppelin title on vinyl LP, with both scheduled for November 6. It is strongly a re-injection into the marketplace of a depleted stock.

Omnivore Records has planned the 2CD Collection of Buck ‘Em! Volume 2 – The Music Of Buck Owens (1967-1975), for November 13.

Herb Alpert Presents will reissue Christmas Album (1968) by Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass. It will feature a new remaster. It is scheduled for release on October 23.

And finally…

Bar/None Records will release Incidental Hum by Glenn Mercer (The Feelies) on October 9. This 15-track album will be issued on CD and vinyl LP. On the LP, four of the tracks found on the CD will not be included on vinyl. However, download rights will be included. The tracks represents three covers (“Over The Rainbow”, “Here Come The Warm Jets”, “Third Stone From the Sun”, plus will include “Salem”).
