Rhino and Parlophone will be celebrating the 40th Anniversary of David Bowie‘s “Fame” by releasing a collectible 7″ vinyl picture disc single. The single will be planned for July 24.
“Fame” joins the previously released 7″ vinyl picture disc single collectibles, “Knock On Wood (Live)” (issued on 9/23/14), and “Young Americans” (issued on 2/24/15).
“Fame“, as well as “Young Americans“, and “Knock On Wood (Live)” were not newly remastered for these 40th Anniversary 7″ vinyl presses. Instead the twp previously released titles used the 2007 Visconti remaster (for “Young Americans”), and the 2005 Visconti remaster (for “Knock On Wood”).
