The life of Tommy Bolin was cut short by tragedy. With membership in Deep Purple, and a building fan-base for his solo work, Tommy Bolin was a star on the rise. Unfortunately, his early death at the age of 25 left us with only a few recorded legacies.
On May 19, UDR Records will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Teaser, his 1975 debut effort, with a lavish Boxset with a unique twist. The box will feature all of the outtakes and alternative mixes of the album’s original content over three vinyl LPs (see track-list below). In addition to the three LPs, there will be 2 bonus CDs that will feature a multitude of live tracks from various locations including Ebbets Field, seventeen performance tracks in all.
The 3LPs and 2CDs will be housed in a 12″ x 12″ Box and will also contain a 12-page LP-sized booklet. The set is being called Teaser – 40th Anniversary Vinyl Box Edition.
