TAPSheet: Release Notes – 04/02/2013 (US Report)

Rhino Records will release a 4CD set featuring Rod Stewart called Live 1975-1998.  It is set for release on May 28. 

Legacy Recordings will release Bennett & Brubeck – The White House Sessions, Live 1962 featuring Dave Brubeck and Tony Bennett.  These recently discovered master taps from Columbia’s vaults is planned for release on May 28.

Virgin Records have Love Lust Faith + Dreams from 30 Seconds To Mars planned for May 21 in both standard CD and Edited.

Capitol Records have plans for a 40th Anniversary Edition of David Bowie‘s excellent Aladdin Sane, scheduled for April 16.

The Control Group will release a vinyl edition of This Is Spinal Tap (OMPS) on June 11.

Relayer Records will release Live At Columbia Studios, Hollywood 9/30/71 featuring Poco.  This cool-sounding set is scheduled for May 28.

Polyvinyl Records plan CD and LP for Antenna To The Afterworld from Sonny & The Sunsets scheduling for June 11 for both.

Side One Dummy Records will release Singles Collection: 2008-2011 for The Gaslight Anthem, on June 8.

On June 4, Atlantic Records will issue Evil Friends from Portugal the Man in both CD and LP formats.

Nettwerk Records have the collected EPs from Australian indies, The Paper Kites, available on May 28.  The set will contain Woodland, and Young North, and is planned as a small Box.

Acephale will release a Deluxe Edition reissue of Where Shall You Take Me from Damien Jurado.  It is scheduled for May 28.

Domino Recordings will release Slow Summits by Pastels on May 28 as both CD and LP.

A favorite label of mine, Dead Oceans, will issue CD and LP for Saltwater from Brazos with a planned date of May 28.

Arbutus Records plan Other Life from Nicholas Savage in both CD and LP on May 28.

Friday Music have CD and LP planned for Live Bootleg Series Volume 9 featuring Johnny Winter.  The set is planned as a Limited Edition , with the vinyl being released as 180g Gold vinyl.  This set is planned for May 28.

Friday Music will also release a Limited Deluxe Edition of Justus from The Monkees planned for May 28.

Friday Music has scheduled an LP reissue of the debut Christopher Cross classic in 180g, gatefold cover.
