If you’re a fan of music, then somewhere, Dick Clark has had something to say to you.  The leader of American Bandstand, often referred to as America’s oldest teenager, Dick Clark has become an integral part of Rock and Roll almost from the start.

Yesterday, his death was reported.  At the age of 82, the man who embodied Rock and Roll left this show we call life.  And for the rest of us, it’s like singing “American Pie” all over again.

“For now, Dick Clark, so long.”
