Dave Hill is known as the embracing Rock member of Slade. Where the other members adopted a fairly standard mode of appearance, Dave Hill applied all manner of makeup and clothing along with the high boots. It was also he and, for a long time, Don Powell, who carried on the Slade livelihood. And while today, the perfection of Slade is left to a warmly remembered history, Dave Hill has yet to hang up the guitar.
On October 30, Dave Hill will release his first solo effort, Dirtyfoot Lane. What is interesting about this release is that not only are we getting a side of Dave Hill we may not have heard before but the ten track set was produced by Django Holder, the son of original Slade vocalist and guitarist, Noddy Holder. It’s a set I look forward to hearing in its entirety.

Dirtyfoot Lane will be released on CD, DD, and vinyl LP in black pressing.
