Bruce Springsteen has carved out – thus far – a legacy spanning 50 years. From his breakout hit with Born To Run up to his latest set, Letter To You, Springsteen has an adoring fanbase. But The Boss is far from done. Following on the heels of the excellent Paul Stanley’s Soul Station, Bruce has recorded a set of classic Soul covers to deliver as another brick in the Springsteen citadel.
On November 11, Bruce Springsteen will release Only The Strong Survive as a collection of 15 songs, all exploring the vast songbook of Soul music. One of the tracks – “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)”, originally recorded by the great Frank Wilson in 1965 – is now in release ahead of the album. You can hear that below. the cover lists this issue as Vol. 1. So, who knows.
Only The Strong Survive will be released on CD, DD, and vinyl 2LP in both Industry black, as well as a Limited Edition Nightshade Green.
