Alabama Shakes, the vehicle for the dynamic vocals of Brittany Howard, has been around since 2004. Their first album dropped in 2013, once the labels caught up. The public joined hard with “Hold On”, the successful single from that debut. Their next didn’t arrive until 2015, but we’ve had to wait an extraordinarily long, looong time for the 3rd set, which is now scheduled to be released. Three albums in 13 years, a long draught by even today’s standards.
On August 28, Alabama Shakes returns to fans with their new set, I Must Be Dreaming. Complete with 11 tracks, the new album showcases the first single release, “I Feel Hope Coming”, which can be heard below. Printed lyrics will be included in the LP and CD packages.
I Must Be Dreaming will be released on CD, DD, CS, and of Sky Blue colored vinyl LP. There will also be a limited amount of autographed copies of the LP made available.
