YES have a great history that involves many accolades. Some of those include albums considered to be the best of all time (Close To The Edge), and a string of singles including “Roundabout” and “Owner Of A Lonely Heart”. Both singles point to a different timeframe and recognize the ability to remain relevant during changing tastes. Needless to say, YES has withstood the hungry grasps of time. With well over 20 albums in the catalog, YES has persevered as few bands of the late ’60s have.
On June 12, Inside Out Music will deliver the next YES album. It will be titled Aurora and will be home to ten tracks (two are bonus track…hmmm). The title track is out and can be heard below. The new album will be offered with several versions of vinyl as well as the CD and BD counterparts. There are 2CD packages with the 2nd CD providing the instrumental parts of each song, and the BD offering an Atmos mix, a 5.1 Surround mix, and a 24-bit Hi Resolution Stereo mix of the entire album with bonus tracks.
Aurora is planned for CD, 2CD/BD with artbook, 2LP Black vinyl, and a Limited Edition (500 copies) 2LP Grape-color vinyl that will include a numbered certificate of authenticity. All LPs are presented in gatefold packaging. there will also be a Boxed set that offer 180g-weight Light Green color 2LP vinyl, 2 CDs, BD, DD (digital version), two artbooks, and a poster.
