The Eagles, long a fixture in the realms of Rock (since 1971 with their debut album out in 1972), has given the world a string of hit albums and singles. Interestingly, this band has never known an album sales under a million copies such is their legacy. With 7 albums to their catalog, they have collectively sold over 100 million copies of many of their albums including Greatest Hits, which sold over 40 million copies in the USA ALONE! What a legacy left behind! One of their albums is one that I favor over all the others – One Of These Nights. Released in 1975, One Of These Nights gave up 3 best-selling singles, and – for me – the captivating “Journey Of The Sorcerer” instrumental.
On May 1, Rhino Entertainment will revisit the gem that is One Of These Nights for an Anniversary box that adds 3CDs and a Blu-ray, as well as a 3LP black vinyl box. The box will pack in the CD with the original album newly remixed for audio perfection. In addition, the other 2CDs feature a previously unreleased 16-song live set from their September 28, 1975 at Anaheim Stadium. The BD will offer the original album remixed for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Stereo mixes as ell as the same for the included 1975 live set.
